20 Happy Mum Tips in 20 Days: Day 10

Are you happy with your wardrobe? Or does its content send you into a state of depression? Again, this ties into your self image and therefore effects your happiness so it’s important to be happy with it.

If you’re not entirely wrapped, then why not start with a spring clean to see what you’ve really got jammed in there?

I’m sure my husband’s not the first guy to have his partner complain that they have nothing to wear despite having a wardrobe that’s about to explode! I think the problem is that we tend to subconsciously select about 10% of our wardrobe that we’re comfortable with- and forget about the rest.

Line up an hour or two to really pull your clothes collection apart and see what you’ve really got- I’m sure you’ll be surprised about how many things you wouldn’t mind putting back into circulation.

The next step is to admit when it’s time to throw an old fave out. You know what I mean, that old pair of jeans that is so worn that it’s threatening to fall right off you! If it’s something you loved and got lots of use out of, then just work towards replacing it.

WARNING: Doing this exercise may make it incredibly difficult to complain that you have nothing to wear with a clear conscience in the future.

Have a Happy Day,
